Good Result for Touchline Pro
Footballer turned entrepreneur David Dale has netted a big order for transportable pitch side dugouts, with his company Touchline Pro.
The company, which was kick-started by funding from ACF, recently secured orders from
David Dale played for Port Vale Football Club in the late 1960's and early 1970's before moving onto a business career and came up with the design for a transportable pitch side dugout.
‘As a EUFA licensed coach I keep close to amateur and junior football and there was clearly a gap in the market for something that could shelter managers and substitutes during a game but that was transportable and affordable,’ said David.
‘The dugout gives a touch of professionalism to amateur clubs as well as providing protection from the elements. It can generate much needed funding as the dugout can carry sponsors names and logos. Furthermore, it can be put away and assembled by one person in a matter of minutes," said David.
‘All the indications are good but this would never have happened without support from ACF. Like many small creative businesses I had found it impossible to get the funding needed to kick things off.’
